Final poster- Full bloom

This was the reference image. I chose it for the dynamic pose which created interesting vectors for the eye. I enjoy the nude, tan and white colour palette for its simplicity and sophistication. The chic 1940s hair is perfect, and the accent flower makes the image great for the theme.

After finding this image on Fashion Gone Rogue's tumblr, I posterised it in Photoshop. This allowed me to follow the posterised contours in illustrator, and render the final image with indigo of different opacities. This was intended to create a real sense of depth.
The final image uses a landscape background at 50% opacity, to create depth. I took the photo in Siem Reap province in northern Cambodia, and chose it as agricultural land seemed appropriate with a foreground theme of flora. The image uses subtle tones, and was chosen as it does not detract from the main image.
The font is VTKS flowers in our soul, downloaded from DaFont. I like how it looks like a regular font from far away, but up close there is great floral intricacy within each letter.
