Final poster- Just for Fun

This image was also found on picsandmodels.blogspot.com. i thought the pose, and the dress up Disney style had had a real 'just for fun' spin. i love the deep tan colour of the outfit, and the studs on the hat give great texture, and a subtle sense of luxury. This image, too, was posterised in Photoshop, before importing into illustrator. Above left is the posterised image. The studs were made as a symbol, using the eyedropper tool from the original image, to give a sense of the golden colour, and their depth.
The background image is of a pile of bricks, taken in the Mekong Delta in southern Vietnam. It was chosen for its colour harmony with the outfit, and its introduction of another layer of texture.
The font used was JulesLove from DaFont. It is a playful, fun font, which enhances this communication in the image. It could be viewed as unprofessional and child-like, but combination with the fashion image helps to create a more sophisticated balance.
